Lose Your Insanity Elite Nutrition Plan?

If you’ve misplaced you nutrition guide, I’ll help you get back on track with the Insanity Elite Nutrition Plan.

First of all, it comes with the program. But over time, sometimes people tend to lose things or things happen in life where they misplace parts of the Insanity package.

In this post, I will help you with what to eat during your 60 days with Insanity. I recently had a reader request to help her with what to eat with Insanity because she moved and her nutrition guide got lost in the process.

With the many requests over time, I thought the best way to help would be to write about it.

I Can: Give you an overview of what to eat

I Can’t: Give you the download for copyright purposes. I hope you understand.

The Elite Insanity Nutrition Plan

With Insanity, you are recommended:

1. To eat 5 meals a day

  • Breakfast
  • Mid Morning Snack
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon Snack
  • Dinner

With all Beachbody fitness programs, they always say to never eat sooner than 1 hour before your workout because your body will be in digestion mode. Because of this, you won’t have the energy for the workout.

2. You must Eat every few hours as this keeps your metabolism burning

3. Every week, check you recommended daily calories as this will change as your body changes.

4.  Drink 8-10 cups of water a day to help reduce hunger pangs. For me, I drink double this becasue my body demands it. 8-10 cups is absolute minimum.

With Insanity, it’s normal to increase your calories just to maintain as you may experience quick fat loss in a specific time during your 60 days.

Each of Insanity’s 5 Meals per day in the Nutrition Guide comes with 10 options you can choose from. They recommend you choose one meal of the 10 for each meal. But first, you must calculate your daily calorie needs.

To do this, simply use this equation:

  • Step 1

For Women…655 + (4.35 weight in lbs) + 4.7 x height in inches) – (4.7 x age in years)

For Men…66 + (6.23 x weight in lbs) + (12.7 x height in inches) – (6.8 x age in years)

  • Step 2

Take this number and multiply it by your appropriate level of exercise below. Because this is for the intense Insanity Workout, your level should be at least moderately-very active.

Exercise Factor Category Explanation
1.2  Sedentary  Little or No exercise
1.375  Lightly Active  Light Exercise (1-3 days/wk)
1.55  Moderately Active  Moderate Exercise (3-5 days/wk)
1.7  Very Active  Hard Exercise (6-7 days/wk)
1.9  Extremely Active  Hard Daily Exercise + a Physical Job

This number is what you need for weight maintenance. Because people have different goals, they should be adjusted accordingly like this…

  • Step 3

Adjust as your body changes and keep the following in mind…

For Weight gain: add 250 – 300 calories per day from you number in step 2
For Weight loss: subtract 500 calories per day from your number in step 2
To maintain: Leave Step 2 number as is.

Recommended Meals In the Insanity Elite Nutrition Plan

Once again for copyright reasons, I can’t give out the full recipes and details. What I could do is give you a clear and brief example of what they have in the booklet.

Meal 1, or breakfast:

I usually drink a shakeology. If I ever eat breakfast whole foods instead of a shakeology first thing in the morning,
it is usually things like:

Cottage Cheese (1% milk fat)
Fruit
Oatmeal
Whole Wheat Bagels
Egg Whites
Reduced fat cheese
Whole Grain Cereal like Kashi GoLean
All Natural Peanut Butter
Strawberry Preserve

For Meal 2 or Mid Morning Snack, I’ll drink my shakeology or:

Non Fat Plain Yogurt
1% cottage Cheese
Protein Shake
Turkey Breast Sandwich on whole grain bread
Fruits like Bananas, melon, berries
Turkey Bacon

Meal 3, you can have such things as:

Mixed dark greens
Chicken Breast
Tuna Steak
Avocado
Lean Roast Beef
Extra Lean Ground Beef
Salmon
Green Beans
Whole grain Tortillas

You can make sandwiches and soups that are amazingly tasty with things like black beans, turkey breasts, avocado, ect.

Meal 4:

Brown rice
Water Packed Tuna
Celery
tomatoes
Cottage Cheese
Whole grain Bread
Whole grain Crackers
Turkey Lettucve Wraps
Turkey Chili
Shrimp Cocktail
Lean roast Beef Wraps with avocado

Meal 5:

Cod
Olive Oil
Carrots
Cauliflower
Spinach
Whole Wheat Bread
Asparagus
Flank Steak
Filet Mignon
Sirloin
Baked Potato
Broccoli
Brown rice
Lean Turkey Burger
Mushrooms
Snow Peas

Remember that you can have as much spices like pepper, paprika, garlic as you want. However, sugars like juices, sodas and such are not recommended.

If you must drink alcohol, then remember that it has 7 calories per gram with no nutrient value. It will also effect performance and slow your process of muscle growth. If you or someone you know is struggling with alcohol-related issues, seeking affordable alcohol treatment in NJ could be a crucial step towards regaining control and living a healthier life.

There are time when you need to add in foods to reach your recommended calrories for a specific meal. One way I do it is to eat a banana. There are what is called food blocks, or individual items to help meet your calorie needs.

These are foods such as:
Cottage cheese
Apple
Raw Almonds
Navel Orange
Non fat vanilla yogurt
water packed tuna
Shakeology

In the second month of Insanity, your body will be needing more food to have the energy to finish strong. Remember that if you are reducing your calories to lose weight as mentioned above, you may also be cutting some of your nutrient value with it.

A way to make sure you supply your body with the necessary vitamins and nutrients is to take a multi-vitamin or shakeology.

The Insanity Elite Nutrition Plan also includes Michi’s Ladder which tells you the right proteins, carbs, and fats to eat in tier levels. You can also get this through the Beachbody Club as it’s too much info to include here.

So here it is, some helpful tips on what to eat with the Insanity Elite nutrition plan. I hope you really take it in and get the results you are working for.

Judging from what Insanity workout online reviews have been raving about, there’s no doubt that Insanity is such a big hit.

Insanity, a brainchild of Shaun T. and Beachbody, has gained unprecedented success since it was first launched, a proof that by combining great marketing strategies with an intelligently designed program, a mega hit will eventually emerge.

From blogs and forums to well esteemed fitness websites and news centers, Insanity workout online reviews have propelled Insanity to reach new heights. However, the polarity of opinions sometimes do more harm than good.

So what is Insanity all about? Have we found a good-for-all exercise program or just another lame workout course worthy to be lined up among other cookie-cutter programs?

This Insanity workout online review seeks to answer all of these questions.

What’s with all the Hype? – Insanity Workout Online

Insanity Workout Online
Insanity workout online review - Make an educated decision if it's for you

Insanity is a 60-day workout program which utilizes the principle of maximum interval training to give “insane” fitness results. Unlike P90X which requires some equipment, Insanity can be completed without using any expensive gym equipment. All you need is your determination to succeed and you’re good to go.

The max interval training allows participants to perform intense cardio workouts with short periods of rest. During the last and second month of the program, one will be exposed to exercise routines that have higher intensity. These workouts might be too challenging for some people so make sure you give the first month your best to help your body prepare well for the transition.

Aside from Insanity moves, a separate diet modification is also highly recommended. Without the Insanity nutrition plan, one can only expect subpar results. This is because nutrition is an integral part of Insanity success and obviously, you won’t succeed in any fitness activity if you keep your old eating habits intact.

Introducing: The Ten Insane Workouts – Insanity Workout Online

Insanity workout online reviews are crazy about Insanity, thanks to the 10 workout DVDs that make up the core of Insanity’s success. Don’t get me wrong, there are bad reviews on Insanity as well. In my opinion, bad reviews usually come from people who weren’t ready for the madness and got caught up on something way above their level. This is why reviews are crucial, because most of the time, you shouldn’t start out with Insanity. It’s for people who are in some sort of shape to begin with.

Shaun T. can push your limits to bring out your personal best. But without the challenging drills below, Insanity could have been a goner a long time ago. But it’s still hanging strong.

Here’s a rundown of the 10 workouts you should expect from Insanity:

  • Dig Deeper & Fit Test –  This is a test that Shaun T puts together to see where you’re at to begin with. Not an easy thing test but a wake up call rather. (30 min.)
  • Plyometric Cardio Circuit –  Legs! Shed your unhealthy weight with intervals of hardcore lower-body jump moving and sweat-inducing cardio. (42 min.)
  • Cardio Power & Resistance – Define your upper body by developing lean muscle with strength-training and power moves. (40 min.)
  • Cardio Recovery – Shaun takes it easy for a day so you’re ready for the next go around. (33 min.)
  • Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs – No intervals on this one—Pure Cardio is extreme  nonstop cardio then you do Cardio Abs for about 15 minutes to finish off your day. (55 min total.)
  • Core Cardio & Balance – Transition workout. Medium intensity after the first month to gear up for month 2 with this workout. (37 min.)
  • Max Interval Circuit & Fit Test – The interval circuit. Probably one of the more intense workouts you’ve experienced to this day. (86 min.)
  • Max Interval Plyo – Max out your legs in this power and plyo no mercy workout. (55 min.)
  • Max Cardio Conditioning & Cardio Abs – Get pushed to your limit with this extreme cardio workout. (65 min total)
  • Max Recovery – Rest, recover,  and build strength for round 2 with intense moves and stretches. (47 min.)

These 10 insane workouts are the key in pushing your body’s strength, coordination and flexibility to the limit. As a result, you will be able to boost your body’s overall performance and face daily physical challenges with great flexibility.

Secrets of Success – Insanity Workout Online

Insanity workout online reviews are in unison to give a highly effective tip for an impressive Insanity result:
“Stick to the Insanity fitness plan no matter what and never forget to modify daily diet according to what is indicated in the Insanity nutritional plan.”

In other words, SUCK. IT. UP.

Although insanity doesn’t require any equipment aside from your own gravity, that doesn’t mean you should not give it your all. Find a motivation and write down your specific Insanity goals so you can track down if you’re going downhill or on your way to success.

Any Insanity workout online review will tell you that the secret to Insanity success is not overnight so if you’re not willing to give it your all, better pack your belongings and stay as a couch potato for the rest of your life. You will need to step out of your comfort zone, invest in your health by eating right, and making sure that for the next 60 days, all your plans are with your Insanity transformation in mind. If you remember one thing from this Insanity workout online review, just know to treat your fitness and health as a priority for the next 60 days or don’t waste your time in the first place.

I know you are busy, but take a moment and sign up for a FREE BEACHBODY MEMBERSHIP for support on demand, motivation like no other, and a social fitness community to keep you on track to your fitness goals![/box]

If I can get Insanity workout results, you can too. I say that because in the beginning of my transformation journey, I was a financially struggling father raising 3 kids and a loving wife, but because I was at the end of my tolerance of being unhealthy and out of shape, I decided to not let anything hold me back from being the best me.

What’s your struggle? Is life holding you back from the things you know you need to do? Define your purpose for starting the Insanity workout and finish what you start no matter what life throws at you. You will be glad you did. Here we go…….

If you want to get the best Insanity workout results, better get pumped up for an ‘insane’ fitness adventure.

Well, based on my experience, it’s actually more intense than an adventure; it was a wild ride that will really put your core strength to test. By the way, it wouldn’t earn its name if it only provided less than ideal results, so off I went and got my feet wet for this fitness program.

So how did I fare well during my first attempt to try this yet another intense at-home fitness program from Beachbody? I’m pretty sure you love to hear some pretty good success story worthy of an Insanity infomercial but one thing is clear: Getting your best Insanity workout results is no joke and I’m not an exception to the rule.

Ok. Alright. I know you’ve been itching to know it so here are my Insanity workout results to give you some source of motivation:

Insanity Workout Results – Get Ready for an ‘Insane’ Journey!

Before we can go straight to my Insanity workout results, I think it will be better if I give you a brief overview of what Insanity is all about. This is for the benefit of those who are just about to embark on this insane 60-day fitness journey.

I’m going to tell you right off the bat that Insanity is a serious endeavour. If you think P90X is the most gut-wrenching at-home exercise program you have ever encountered so far, then you better think again because Insanity, by itself, is could give it a run for it‘s money.

P90X and Insanity came from the same company but they differ in duration, content and intensity. If the 90-day P90X program with a combination of yoga, weight training, cardio and stretching exercises is too boring for you, then you’re totally free to shift to Insanity by all means or combine the two to make a very challenging hybrid.

I started to try Insanity during Month 2 of P90X and all I can say is “WOW“, the cardio workouts of Insanity are so powerful on their own that you can achieve impressive Insanity workout results – regardless if your goal is to beef up, lose weight or get rid of those pesky fats – in just a matter of 30 days!

My Insanity Workout Results – See It to Believe It..

If there’s one thing that I’m most thankful for about my Insanity workout results, that would be the fact that I achieved them by just keeping my motivation at its peak on a daily basis. And with the variety of cardio workouts you’ll get from Insanity plus the occasional rest periods which are a requirement for Max interval training, it’s quite easy to achieve the best Insanity workout results. That is, if you’re determined and committed enough to stick to your Insanity fitness plan even if your body tells you otherwise. And if you’re in need of assistance, consider searching for reebok treadmill repair near me to keep your fitness equipment in top shape. You can also buy steroids from reputable stores like cytech pharma for your fitness goals.

I achieved some good Insanity workout results as early as 30 days, thanks to the unique features only Insanity can provide. For optimal recovery, choose sports massage in Manhattan to help soothe your muscles and enhance your progress.

  • First, Insanity allowed me to perform intense workouts at a faster rate in a short period of time, minimizing boredom and complete distaste for long and repetitive workouts. As a matter of fact, I only spent about 30 to 40 minutes a day during the first three months of the program with the DVDs during the second half not going beyond an hour.
  • Second, you get the luxury of spending few moments for rest and recovery alone. And the good news is you don’t have to be guilty about it because it’s actually part of the program.
  • Third, you can just throw all that heavy equipment aside and just rely on your own gravity alone to complete the whole program – it’s as simple as that.
  • Lastly, I get the chance to witness firsthand how Insanity helped to transform me from a lazy procrastinator into a health-conscious fitness enthusiast that I am today. Take a look at how my 30-day Insanity journey has turned out:
Insanity workout results
Insanity Workut Results – 60 Day Insanity Transformation

Insanity Workout Results – What’s Next in Line?

If Insanity workout results are not enough to satisfy your hunger for more challenges, don’t worry because there are more Insanity variations that can really push you to the limit. Take Insanity Asylum as an example; it’s also a 30-day challenge but has been considered as the most intense at-home fitness program one can ever sign-up to so far. To enhance muscle building, improve endurance, and reduce recovery time, consider using Anabolics Canada.

Now, if you’re still wondering how to get the maximum Insanity workout results for yourself, put this formula to mind: Insanity nutrition plan + motivation + commitment to Insanity workout plan = SUCCESS.

Remember, what’s your “WHY?” Why do you want to do Insanity? To get lean, lose weight, tone up? To increase your endurance? Whatever it is, it must be emotional and far more important than quitting when things get tough.

I know it’s a no-brainer but believe me, it’s easier said than done! So if you want to achieve Insanity workout results that clearly deserve an infomercial, you got to work your butt off and push yourself to the “insane” limit!

Insanity vs P90X | The Face-Off

[box type=”note”]I appreciate you stopping by and sharing the day here at GetFitToLive.com. I know you are busy, but take a moment and sign up for a FREE BEACHBODY MEMBERSHIP for support on demand, motivation like no other, and a social fitness community to keep you on track to your fitness goals![/box]

Much has been said about Insanity vs P90X that we sometimes get lost on which one will better suit our needs. There are a lot of pros and cons which aim to distinguish Insanity from P90X and vice versa. But what is it really about this Insanity vs P90X face-off that really gives us an idea on what route to take? It’s probably the complexity of exercises or the required length of time to complete the program. However, there are more aspects that we need to take a glance of before we can choose between Insanity vs P90X.

When I started to use the two workout programs simultaneously last year, there are three factors that I have found useful in comparing between Insanity vs P90X. Although they are not in any way conclusive, these three aspects can really give anyone the nitty gritty of these two most intense at-home exercise programs of today. For the benefit of my readers, I will try to give each a brief overview.

insanity vs p90x
Insanity VS P90X

Insanity vs P90X | The Workout Schedule

If you want to know what kind of workout program your body can tolerate, it’s better to take a closer look on the difference between Insanity vs P90X in terms of their workout schedules.

For P90X, the first three weeks is usually spent with the six workout routines plus one day of rest period for each week that passes. The fourth week, also known as the recovery week, is when the Core Synergistics are performed including yoga and plyometrics. After that, month 2 starts and the next three weeks will be fully loaded with a combination of muscle confusion exercises and high calorie burning cardio. Month 2 is when you really start to see outer body changes. It will be followed by another recovery week with the last few weeks being spent by doing alternating routines between month 1 and 2 to make the most of what muscle confusion can offer.

If I’m going to compare Insanity vs P90X, P90X warm-up routines are much easier than Insanity’s. P90X warm ups are more to get your body moving in the directions that you will be performing resistant training moves but in a more subtle way. Insanity gets you going with 3 rounds of approximately 7 moves just to get you warmed up! That is 21 moves total that get faster each round before you even reach the workout segment. By the end of the warm up for Insanity, you are already dripping as if you just got out of a pool. At least that is how I feel.

The first three days of Insanity is fully packed with intense workouts, followed by a recovery day, another 2 days of intense exercises, and the seventh being considered as another rest day. During the last half of the Insanity program, or month two, more intense workout routines will put your cardiovascular functions to test. In the “Max” series during month 2, the workouts get tougher and longer so make sure you have your basic foundation intact and well-established during the first 30 days.

Insanity vs P90X | The Diet Program

Insanity VS P90X
Insanity Nutrition vs P90X Nutrition - Make it Your Own!

In terms of the diet program, there are no food items that make either one of Insanity vs P90X better than the other. Of course, these diet programs were made to cater the unique needs of participants of each exercise program so it’s understandable that they differ in terms of nutrient proportions. Between Insanity vs P90X, it’s quite obvious that P90X holds a more complex diet program than Insanity.

P90X requires 3 different phases to complete its diet program:
1) Fat shredder
2) Energy booster
3) Endurance maximizer.

These phases coincide with the different periods of the exercise program. The first phase is intended to help the participant shred fat, the second phase to gain more muscles, and the last one to support increased energy demands by getting more calories from the diet.

The Insanity diet program is relatively simpler because it only requires 5 meals per day, 2-3 hours apart, for the rest of the program. However, just like in the P90X diet, strict proportions for each food group are followed. Insanity diet consists of exactly 40% carbohydrates, 40% protein and 20% of healthy fats coming from healthy food sources such as fruits, vegetables and lean proteins. P90X changes the percentages just like a seesaw, with you starting out with more protein than carbs, and by the time your done with your 90 days, you are on a heavier carb than protein diet and trust me, you will need those carbs!

Insanity vs P90X | The Overall Cost

Especially if the economy is tough, Insanity vs P90X can be more of a battle that determines which provides the greatest affordability. I know it should never be the deciding factor to declare which wins between Insanity vs P90X but it’s safe to assume that people want to know which program can help them more in saving a dollar or two.

Between Insanity vs P90X, it’s better to choose what really suits your needs and capacity. They’re both available at exactly the same price of $119.85, or 25% off if you are a coach or wholesale member. If you’re going to think about the added bonus you will receive from either one of these programs, you will surely never mind the price. Bonus DVDs including the Fountain of Youth Yoga for P90X and Fast and  Furious workout DVDs for Insanity are up for grabs once you sign-up for these programs. However, the equipments required for P90X like resistance bands and dumbbells might add up to the total cost of the program, making Insanity a cheaper alternative for those who can tolerate its intense routines.

Confused Baby
"How in the World Do I Choose?" - Insanity VS P90X

Still undecided which between Insanity vs P90X is better than the other? Well, with the right assessment of your own needs, fitness goals and capacity, you will surely know between Insanity vs P90X will give you the most impressive results.

Steven Cartegena(Left), Arnel Banawa, and Me(Right)

My Insanity journey was a bit struggling but being the competitive guy that I am, I exhausted all efforts to reach my personal goals for which an online trainer recommended this Muscle Fit Menswear. The intense cardio conditioning was “insane”, mind you, so before you embark on this journey, you better ask the experts or at least read my own Insanity Workout Review to get the whole picture.

Insanity Workout Review – Getting Started

Insanity is a brainchild of Shaun T., the same person behind another popular workout course, the Hip Hop Abs. If you’re quite familiar with interval training, then you’ll get the nitty gritty of the Max Interval Training which is the principle that makes Insanity at the top of its game.

Max Interval training is all about shaping up using long periods of intense cardio workouts followed by short periods of rest. By doing this, you’ll give yourself plenty of time to perform various reps which then help in toning up your body at a faster rate.

Insanity comes with 10 DVDs with additional two if you choose to buy the deluxe edition. This is a 60-day challenge so the program is divided into two phases or months. During the first month, you will condition your body for more intense workouts you are required to perform come Month 2 of Insanity.

Here are just some of the DVDs containing the workouts that are intended specifically for Insanity:
1. Cardio Power and Resistance (strengthening upper and lower body). In the beginning, I really found this workout to be tough. The warm up is one of the hardest for me because it’s a lot of leg burning exercises.
2. Cardio Abs (to get yourself toned up and get the snazzy abs like Shaun T’s). This one gets me sweating quickly for some odd reason. Love this short but effective workout for your abs. Funny thing is…you don’t do one single sit up!
3. Max Interval Circuit, Max Interval Plyo and Max Cardio Conditioning & Abs (intense max interval training workouts performed during the last stretch of Insanity). You’ll need to stop and re-oxygenize your body to make it through these “Max” DVD series workouts in the 2nd month.

Aside from the DVDs, one can also get an access to some useful add-ons like the Elite Nutrition Plan, online tools for peer support and top notch customer service, Insanity calendar and Fitness Guide.

Insanity Workout Review – The Pros and Cons

It’s hard to give honest Insanity Workout Review if you didn’t experience the intensity of the program firsthand. Insanity, in all fairness, is an intense cardio conditioning course and it’s during Month 2 that both the endurance and stamina of the participant will be put to test. Not only were the workouts harder, but they were longer as well. This will truly test your mental toughness.

Insanity Workout
My Las Vegas Fit Club Doing The Max Plyo Insanity Workout

I first used Insanity as a replacement to the P90X cardio workouts during my second month in the program. I found P90X cardio training effective but I wanted to step it up a notch so I tried to infuse Insanity to my daily routines. My experience was nothing short of challenging and gut-wrenching, but if you want to beef up your physique and sculpt the perfect abs within 60 days, you might just end up disappointed. If you’re going to compare P90X and Insanity, the former remains the best choice if your goal is to achieve that award-winning body.

Another disadvantage of Insanity is the fact that the second month of the program, when max interval training start to work, is just too intense for other people in the beginner level to take. The intense combination of cardio & abs, plyometrics and the main circuit can really make some people want to throw up, but once you get the hang of it or prepare well during the first month, you’ll surely reap the best rewards in the end. The best tip I got from Shaun T was to take breaks when needed, not before you need them. Don’t expect to keep up with the freaks on the DVD, unless you are a spartan warrior or have an elite level of fitness already. Do what you can and that’s the best you can do.

On the other hand, Insanity can be the most convenient and cost-cutting workout programs at home because you won’t need any equipment to get those routines done. Unlike P90X, you can complete the whole 60 days of the program by just using your own body as the main source of resistance.

My Final Thoughts & Review On The Insanity Workout

My P90X/Insanity Results – Insanity Workout Review

I have lost a total of 23 pounds by using a P90X/ Insanity Hybrid but I always firmly believe that Insanity has played a major part on my transformation. This alone gives me the privilege to share my story through an Insanity Workout Review. Since completing my first round of P90X/Insanity Hybrid, I continue to do Insanity at least 3 times per week with whatever workout I’m currently doing. It always puts you at your best, and that’s why I love it!

Some people ask me what program they can do to get ready for Insanity. I tell them the best way to prepare, is to start exercising daily and get your body used to moving around. A great workout for people that have been on the couch too long but ready to jump into exercise is Tai Cheng from Beachbody. This will get your joints and muscles prepared to move again in a very focused and detailed way. It also helps your breathing which is vital in fitness.

Overall, Insanity is a great workout program that is worth a try if you are not a beginner.  If you stick to your workout schedule and get the most out of the Insanity nutrition plan, I assure you that it won’t be long before you can write your own Insanity Workout review and share your inspiring story to everyone who needs it the most.

But how important it is really to get ripped by combining the effects of an extreme Insanity workout plan with an Insanity workout nutrition guide? In my opinion, very important!

Any fitness guru can probably attest to the fact that there’s no magic formula in getting ripped or achieving one’s ideal body figure. With this in mind, any person should always aim for a holistic approach when finding the best workout program out there. That idea propelled me to give Insanity a chance last year and believe it or not, I got more than what I asked for.

Using a combination of intense interval workouts and an information-rich nutrition guide compiled by experts on this field, Insanity is really the one to beat. It was when I started to include Insanity workouts into my P90X cardio days in conjunction with the recommended nutrition outline that I began to see significant results.

As a result, I want more people to get the same or better life-changing moments, which is why I’m sharing my own personal experiences of my transformation with you. My only hope is that certain people will benefit from my experiences and decide to take their first step in a better, healthier, stronger, and longer life.

Insanity workout nutrition is an important part of the program and may I repeat, can be your own key in creating an inspiring Insanity success story like what I have now, one year after I bravely took some risk. I want to spread a message of inspiration so I have listed down an overview of what Insanity workout nutrition is all about.

Insanity Workout Nutrition | What’s inside the book?

Insanity-workout-nutritionIn case you don’t know, Insanity workout nutrition guide or also known as the Elite Nutrition Plan is a book that comes in every package once you purchase the Insanity workout program. When I first got hold of the Insanity workout nutrition guide, I was immediately amazed by the simplicity of how the facts and several recipe suggestions are being presented in this guide. Of course, not everyone has a competent knowledge of the basic nutritional terminologies being used by experts but thanks to Insanity workout nutrition guide, people from all walks of life now have an access to a wide array of information ranging from simple definitions of carbohydrates, fats and protein to troubleshooting tips which you can apply the moment you encounter a nutritional dilemma in the middle of the program.

The Insanity workout nutrition plan is divided into two parts: Month 1 and Month 2 with 30 days each (the reason why Insanity is also known as the 60-day fitness challenge). Based on this book, a participant should ideally eat 5 separate meals per day, about 3 hours apart and each meal containing equal calorie proportions. However, the amount of calories you’ll receive will highly depend on your individual caloric needs which can be determined using a special calorie calculator. Month 1 requires lower amount of calories but as the program progresses to Month 2, additional calories can now be added using “food blocks” which contain between 100 to 300 calories.

Insanity Workout Nutrition | What are the recipes to keep you moving?

When I started using Insanity, I really thought that the Elite nutrition plan had made the whole process of food preparation and cooking quite easier to perform. In fact, each of the 5 meals required per day has a total of 10 recipe suggestions listed within the Insanity workout nutrition guide. They are quite easy to do and you can even modify them to suit individual calorie needs and preference.

From scrumptious recipes ranging from berry protein smoothie, veggie omelette, chicken stir-fry to black bean soup and special Insanity sandwich, one can find a gastronomic relief right after an exhausting Insanity workout by using this valuable book intended to make the whole Insanity experience more satisfying and fulfilling at the same time.

Insanity Workout Nutrition | Is it really needed?

Proper-nutrition
100% Nutrition – 100% Exercise – 100% Mentality

You won’t just ride the Insanity bandwagon without first knowing the components that have made all these Insanity success stories possible. For instance, the Insanity workout nutrition guide was not formulated just to add up to the total fee but to further improve one’s chances of success in this intense program.

Remember, the experts have already done the scientific research on what your body needs as it goes through this high intensity workout. Your body will be demanding carbs for energy and specific proteins, calories, and portions. If you don’t eat enough, you won’t have the energy to perform, if you eat too much, you may not get that lean shredded body you are aiming for.

They say one’s transformation success can be attributed to 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. I believe that it should be 100% nutrition and 100% exercise. So before you can even neglect the value of Insanity workout nutrition plan, you better think twice because you might be missing that once-in-a-lifetime chance to change your life.

When I first heard about Insanity workout video from Beachbody, the word “insanity” really piqued my interest. For me, that word can only mean two things: it’s either this workout program is insane for the membrane or insanely good that you won’t trade it for anything else.

Insanity Creator himself, Shaun T
Me and Insanity Workout Creator, Shaun T in L.A.

Out of sheer curiosity, I decided to get my own Insanity workout video along with its other perks and then combined it with P90X, hoping to get better results later on. I was stunned with the outcomes and after a few weeks of intense exercise, I can officially prove that the Insanity video is truly insane…but in a very good way.

I have heard a lot of people having their own opinions about Insanity and even encounter some who unfairly compare it with P90X. Well, it can mean a lot of things to a lot of people but for someone like me who have experienced Insanity’s sweat dripping and extremely intense program firsthand, the benefits of having your own Insanity workout video can only come to you if you’re disciplined enough to beat procrastination and just start getting in shape.

For beginners, few questions about the in home cardio conditioning program must be playing within your minds right now, so just for the purpose of informing all my readers about this program’s nitty-gritty, I now give you my own version of Insanity workout video 101.

Insanity Workout Video: The Principle Behind

Insanity is basically a body conditioning program that can help you get ripped and lose a total of 1,000 calories per hour in a period of 60 days. Sounds impressive, right? But look closer because you can’t just get these results if you just sit all day couch-potato style with bowls of flavored chips around you and then watch the Insanity workout video as if it’s just a simple educational guide to get rid of those pesky body fats. Mind you, Insanity is an intense workout program and if you would ask someone who has successfully surpassed the Insanity challenge, the adjective “intense” might even be an understatement.

Insanity is intended for people who have been exposed to other body conditioning programs like P90X and also for those fitness enthusiasts who are ready to face more challenges. Using effective plyometric moves coupled with intense exercises to help increase one’s endurance, strength and core power, Insanity is clearly ahead of its game. The program follows the principle of “Max Interval Training” which means you will perform high-intensity exercises and get short periods of rest to help your body cope up with the extreme demands of this program.

Insanity comes with a 10-disc Insanity workout video and other essential tools to help you achieve your goals like the Elite nutritional plan, the Insanity calendar and complete fitness guide with online support to keep you going. And with Shaun T, a top notch personal trainer, to guide you with every exercise move you make, you will be assured of excellent results within 60 days without using any expensive equipment that could further hurt your budget.

Insanity Workout Video: Does it Work?

Insanity workout video is one of the best things I have got from the genius minds behind Beachbody. As a matter of fact, by combining both Insanity and P90X for my hybrid exercise program, I was able to reduce my weight from 186 lbs. back in February 2011 to 163 lbs. three months later.

That’s not a lot of weight loss by itself, but remember by combining it with P90X, I was also gaining muscle mass which added to my weight in a healthy way. In addition to that, Insanity workout video also enabled me to lose a total of 4 inches from my waistline. For those considering body surgery to achieve their goals, experts like Dean White specialize in procedures that can further enhance body contours and complement the results of fitness programs.

On top of that, I felt a lot better and stronger after getting through this intense workout so all in all, Insanity workout video has helped greatly in getting me back in shape through sheer hard work and determination.

However, if what you’re looking for is some bogus fitness fad which can promise you almost everything
you ask for, then I can tell you point blank that Insanity workout video will never work for you. You need to have that strong motivation and drive to succeed which can see you through those rough times when all you just wanted is to quit. Again, Insanity is an extreme one so you shouldn’t even dare to sign-up for this if you’re not willing to work your rear off.

Insanity Workout Video: A Life-Saving Tool

Yes. You heard that right! Insanity workout video is a life-saving tool but it’s more than just pure plyometrics and sweat dripping moves.

I can attest that Insanity can be more of a character test; the more determined you are, the easier you’ll get that most coveted Insanity trophy. And this achievement is not something tangible, I must tell you, because nothing can ever be more fulfilling than seeing your body transform right in front of your very eyes using perseverance and, of course, the help of the ever-reliable Insanity workout video.

How Does Insanity Workout Work and Will it Work for Me?

The Insanity workout has gotten a lot of reviews. While some good and some bad, the biggest common denominator in reviews about how does Insanity workout work is what shape you are in prior to starting the Insanity program. This doesn’t mean you have to already have perfectly ripped abs and a sexy fit body, but you do need to be in some sort of shape to see the results of Insanity take shape.

How Does Insanity Workout Work | The Workout

Insanity allows you to burn fat faster because you are put through an extreme cardio workout in a reverse HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training) format. A majority of these workouts have the potential to burn thousands of calories – depending on the amount of intensity you put into it. The entire purpose of the Insanity workout is to continually push, push, push and keep pushing so that your body gets the maximum workout it needs.

Shaun T will take you through high intensity intervals that will take your heart rate up and then bring you down to re oxygenate your muscles. Unlike the standard HIIT, where it takes you on primarily medium paced exercises and then boosts you up for a short time of high intensity, Insanity will take you through primarily high intensity moves and then gives you just enough time to recover for the next hardcore interval.

You will continually be pushed to test you limits with Insanity. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t finish the whole workout on any DVD the first week or two you try it. That is a wake up call that you have room to improve and if you stick with it, Insanity will indeed work for you and get you the results you desire.

How Does Insanity Workout Work for People Not in Shape

The most important thing to remember when starting Insanity is you need to be in the proper cardiovascular health in order to get the best results without a potential for life-threatening harm. That being said, if you are looking for a way to burn fat faster to get yourself in shape, Insanity will work. You may not get the washboard abs if you are severely overweight, but what you will get is:

  • More energy
  • Faster metabolism
  • Significant weight loss

If you are having trouble going up the flight of stairs at work, then Insanity is not the best program to start with. Beachbody has numerous programs that will show you how to burn fat faster for optimal results such as the workout with Tony Horton, Slim 6 and other Beachbody products.

How Does Insanity Workout Work and Will It Work for Me?

Insanity will work for you, as long as you stay dedicated. In addition, using the insanity chart to guide you on your nutrition as well as the workout guide to keep you on track are the things that  will give you the best results. So will Insanity work for you? If your body is in somewhat of good shape enough or is ready to dig deeper and test your mental capacity then, yes, Insanity will work for you.

Down the road you will be challenged more than in the beginning because you know what the workouts entail. It is easy to be discouraged if you know your weaknesses and strengths. Some workouts you do better than others and some days you won’t want to do the difficult ones. My advice is to do it anyways and focus on the ones that are tough and watch yourself get better. Push to do more than you did the last time and next thing you know, certain workouts won’t be as hard and you can move on in mastering the next one.

If you are not in at least a bit of shape and not ready to dedicate yourself to the Insanity workout, you may not be satisfied with the results you get. Reason being is that you will not be able to keep up at all and you won’t feel any possibilities nearby. So the less capable you are to perform the workout, the more frustrated and undedicated you will be.

Insanity does work. It is also known as the toughest cardio workout ever put on DVD, and it requires dedication just like any other workout program. If you can put in the time, put in the effort and keep up with it for the length of the insanity chart you will see the results the advertisements promise. Only you can determine the results you get – that is with any workout.
